How a small gesture grew into a mission
In 2020, during the height of the pandemic, my husband was on the front lines at Kuwait Airport. To boost morale, I regularly sent homemade desserts for him and his colleagues, but one, a type 2 diabetic on a keto diet, never tried them. One day, I created a keto cheesecake just for him—and he loved it. He urged us to turn this into a business, he pointed out that a large part of the population with specific dietary needs wasn’t being catered to, particularly when it came to desserts.
